How reminders work

You tell us what's coming and when. We send one email on the day you choose. That's the whole service, and it's free.

Setting up a reminder

What it is
A name you'll recognize, like "Gym membership" or "Phone promo price ends", and a type: free trial, subscription, bill, insurance, membership, return or other.
The date
The day the charge happens or the deadline passes.
How often
Once, monthly, every 3 months or yearly. Repeating reminders move to the next date on their own.
How far ahead
1, 3, 7, 14 or 30 days before. For insurance or contract notice periods, choose 30.
Amount and a note
Optional. Amounts add up to a monthly total on your dashboard, so you can see what your subscriptions cost.

Sending rules

  • Reminders go out once a day, in the morning (Eastern Time).
  • Each reminder date is emailed about once. If several are due the same day, you get one combined email.
  • Reminders only go to verified email addresses.
  • Every reminder email has a one-click link to pause all reminder emails. You can resume from your account.
  • If an address bounces or reports our email as spam, we stop emailing it automatically.
  • Reminders are separate from the newsletter. Having one doesn't sign you up for the other.

This is generated by the same code that sends real reminders, using two example reminders.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. There's no paid plan and no ads in reminder emails. We may offer optional extras in the future; reminders will stay free.

Do you connect to my bank or cards?

No. You add reminders yourself. We never ask for bank logins, card numbers or account numbers, so there's nothing sensitive to leak.

Can you cancel subscriptions for me?

No. We remind you; you decide and cancel directly with the company. Our cancellation guide walks you through it.

How do I stop the emails?

Use the one-click link at the bottom of any reminder email, pause reminders from your account, delete individual reminders, or delete your account.

What if I don't receive a reminder?

Check your spam folder and add reminders@stretchpenniesmore.com to your contacts. Reminders are a helpful backup, so for anything critical, also keep your own note.
